Meanwhile, the question of whether all of Santa's reindeer are female has been raised because while all reindeer grow antlers each year, male reindeer typically lose their antlers a month or more before Christmas comes around, which would mean that if we see Santa's sleigh being pulled by reindeer with antlers, they would have to all be female because they lose their antlers much later.
