Every now and again, we play around with how to best visualize the data we frequently use. Below, we present the history of U.S. federal government budget surpluses and deficits from 1967 through 2009:

Why only show the U.S. government budget surplus or deficit for the years of 1967 through 2009? Let's just say that all will be explained when we attempt to blow the bloody doors off your mind with the biggest thing we've discovered in 2010 as we celebrate our sixth anniversary next week....
