Unexpectedly Intriguing!
12 June 2020

This edition of Inventions in Everything is as sweet as it is short! It's all about oddly shaped objects that roll smoothly and can be made with desktop 3D printers, as demonstrated in the following 7-minute video from Maker's Muse. Wobblers, oloids and Steinmetz solids, oh my!

If you're a fan of the oloid, you can buy one that has been "hand-crafted from solid molten stainless steel" on Amazon, where you'll find it under the Office Products category. Just like you would expect!
