Unexpectedly Intriguing!

The PedalPub on the Road! We're blatantly ripping off Marginal Revolution today, as we're heading out early for a long holiday weekend! In that spirit, we're proud to present the PedalPub, the market's answer to the question: "How can people more effectively combine a workout with a pint?" (HT: Core77)

The answer according to the PedalPub's Minnesota-based entrepreneurs: construct a bar atop a pedal-powered chassis, where anywhere from 3 to 16 patrons can enjoy the beverage of their choice and a slow bike ride. The PedalPub is available for rent in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota.

Dangerous? Well, perhaps from a product liability and insurance standpoint, but with a maximum speed of five miles per hour, our guess is that most patrons would be relatively unharmed if they, well, fell off the wagon. Pedestrians, on the other hand, would have some explaining to do as to why they wouldn't notice the PedalPub coming toward them....
